The Creativity Hub
The Creativity Hub was built on the site of a car park and an old building. It sits alongside vegetation and an outdoor seating area in the heart of the campus. It has been awarded the Bâtiment Durable Méditerranéen (BDM) label.
The mission of this building is to stimulate creativity in all the school's activities, for the benefit of its students, staff, companies and the general public.
There is a large hall and an open stage with 130 seats. A ramp leads to the upper levels where there are freely accessible rooms for group or individual work, as well as numerous rooms or spaces for creativity. A large room that can accommodate up to 70 people is perfect for creativity activities, quality meetings or seminars, thesis oral defenses, etc. A terrace is accessible from the top level and it offers one of the most beautiful views of Alès and its surroundings.
The HUB is home to the incubator, the creativity coordinator and the reception of the Croupillac site.
On the ground floor, there is also a cafeteria open all day. On the first level there is a reading area where books related to creativity, entrepreneurship and technology are available.
The Hub plays a pivotal role on the Croupillac campus where anyone can come to relax, reflect, seek inspiration or grab a snack!
The inspirational design comes from the architect Emmanuel Nebout. The hall is adorned with works from Mathieu Merlet-Briand, inspired by Johannes Itten's chromatic circle. The 12 panels represent our baseline, which is particularly well-suited to this building: "Science and creativity to invent a sustainable world".
Helioparc Campus (Pau)
The Helioparc site (located at 2 avenue Pierre Angot 64053 Pau Cedex 9) is home to a research laboratory on the Psychosensory Properties of Materials (visual aspect and touch of Materials) belonging to the Mines Alès Materials Centre (C2MA).
